Celine's lastest news
Today is Celine's 39th birthday! Celine
is currently on a short break from her Las Vegas show, A New Day...
and is celebrating her birthday with her friends and family! Happy
Birthday Celine!
Today is Celine's mother, Thérèse's
birthday. Celine was 12 when Thérèse decided to quit
her job to take care of Celine's career. She entered Celine into various
local singing contests and had her perform at community fairs in order
to help her gain exposure and experience. When they couldn't find
any songwriters that were able to write songs for Celine's voice,
Thérèse decided to write one herself. She co-wrote "Ce
n'était qu'un rêve" and "Grand-Maman",
the first two songs ever written especially for Celine.

Celine's new single "Et S'il N'en
Restait Qu'une (Je Serais Celle-là)" will be released
in France on the April 16 2007. And there's a new official cover!

was taped during Celine's stay in New York, in the end of January.

Today is Celine's brother, Jacques'
birthday. He is the seventh child of the family and shares Celine's
love of music. Jacques is a guitarist and composer. He composed the
melody for Celine's song, "Ce n'était qu'un rêve."
Jacques remembers practicing music with his friends in the basement
and four-year-old Celine would always try to get to the microphone
and sing!
Musimax has produced a 2-hour special
documentary about Celine's famous husband and manager, René
Angélil's life! The documentary will premiere at the 'Impérial'
theatre in Montreal on March 14, 2007. It will also be broadcast on
Musimax soon. Please check your local listings for details!
